End of Windows Phone

An Era has come to an end. Microsoft has now pulled the plugs and stopped the support for Windows 8.1 mobile operating system. Currently, there are millions of phones which are still running on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. All these phones are not supported now and only 20% of the Windows devices run on Windows 10 OS.

Windows 10 OS has a support deadline till 2018 and looking at the progress of the new developments at Microsoft Corp, things look bleak.  The company has seen many job cuts in the mobile division and there is no longer any focus for the mobile development. The company has shifted the focus from mobile to intelligent cloud. Now the Microsoft’s efforts more into building apps for IOS and Android for generating revenue.

Is this the End of Windows Phone? Yes, Definitely.

Windows mobile has bit the dust.
